Delivery Times

Once payment is confirmed, LOVENTOOLS endeavours to despatch all orders within 2 or 3 working days.

Please note, we CAN NOT deliver to Post Office boxes.

  • Orders that are received and payment confirmed BEFORE 4pm, are delivered within 1or 2 working days.
  • Orders that are received and payment confirmed AFTER 4pm, are delivered within 2 or 3 working days.

LOVENTOOLS keeps an economic level of stock of the most popular quality brands such as DEWALT, MAKITA, HITACHI, BOSCH, PASLODE & other brands in our warehouse however, backorders are sometimes required.

In the event an item must be backordered from the manufacturer, the customer will be notified of an approximate shipping date (if available). The customer can then choose to ship the remainder of the order and /or cancel the backordered item for a complete refund.


FASTWAYS: This applies to most domestic shipments under 50kg going to a street address.

FASTWAYS include up to $1500 of insurance at no additional charge on all shipments. Additional insurance must be purchased by the buyer at the time of order.

LovenTools is not responsible for lost or damaged shipments that ARE NOT insured.

Freight Handling Fees

Handling fees are applied to most shipments to cover the cost of packing materials, storage, returns, labour, etc. These are stated upfront and included with the shipping fees.

LovenTools does not inflate shipping or handling fees to make up for lower product costs.

If you feel that a shipping or handling fee is excessive, please contact us and if appropriate, we will review and adjust the cost.

For freight orders, handling fees can vary based on the size and complexity of the order. Average handling fees range between $10 and $50 per loaded skid.

Additional handling charges may apply for unusually large or odd shaped items or for expedited services.



Refunds, Returns and Exchanges


A full refund will be given if an item is faulty or LovenTools has incorrectly despatched your order. Your claim must be received within 30 days after purchase.

A full Refund or EXCHANGE will be given if an item is found to be DEAD ON ARRIVAL i.e. does not function as specified by the product manufacturer. Your claim must be received within 7 days and LovenTools will cover all shipping costs.

If you think you’ve incorrectly ordered an item, we may charge an 8% restocking fee. You will need to pay the cost for shipping it back to us.

NO REFUND will be given if you simply change your mind.


LovenTools accepts returns of items which are un-opened and un-used within 15 days of product receipt. Return shipping is to be paid by the customer and a 6% re-stocking fee will apply (minimum re-stocking fee is $5). Once the returned merchandise has been received and inspected, a refund will be issued.

‘Under Warranty’ items must be returned with the receipt. A warranty card or registration is not required

How long will it take to repair my tools?

We offer a 24 hour service turn around. If you drop-off today before 4pm, you can pick up tomorrow provided we have the parts in stock.

If you are outside Auckland, we will need to add shipping time. If you really can’t do without your tools, we offer LOAN TOOLS or if possible we’ll do our very best to repair onsite.

REED, SEEK, Tusk and Graco

All REED, SEEK, Tusk and Graco tools come with a 1 year factory warranty. Loventools will arrange for service and repair of all REED, SEEK, Tusk and Graco tools by an approved New Zealand service agent.

Metabo, Ramset, Senco and Ecko
All Metabo, Ramset, Senco and Ecko products come with a factory warranty. More details about the length of the warranty are set out below. Loventools will arrange for service and repair of all Metabo, Ramset, Senco and Ecko tools by an approved New Zealand service agent.

All power tools: 1 year
Power tool accessories and attachments, including chucks, collets, grinder flanges, drill bits, FIXTEC systems and dust bags: 3 months
Consumables including chucks, brushes, O-rings, seals, bearings: 3 months
Notwithstanding statutory requirements, Metabo provides a warranty in accordance with the legislation of the customer's own country of residence, but in all cases for a minimum of 1 year, commencing from the date on which the tool/machine is sold to the end user.
The warranty covers defects in material and/or workmanship only.

When making a claim under the warranty, the original proof of purchase bearing the date of purchase must be submitted. The repairs under warranty may only be carried out by Metabo' s own service stations, or authorised Metabo warranty service agents.
Excluded from the warranty are:
  • incorrect use, overloading of the machine (example: use of jigsaw in pallet construction), or fitting non-approved accessories
  • use of force, damage caused by external influences or foreign bodies such as sand or stones
  • damage caused by non-observance of the instructions for use such as connection to an unsuitable mains supply or voltage or non-compliance with the installation instructions
  • normal wear
The warranty also does not cover tools/machines, which have been partially or completely dismantled.
If a machine purchased after January 2004 is registered within 4 weeks, Metabo grants an extended warranty of 3 years, also starting on the date of purchase of the machine by the end user/customer.
Registration can be affected exclusively online at and can be done by the customer themselves. The customer will receive the XXL warranty confirmation by email or can print it immediately. This confirmation is always relates specifically to one machine.
When tendering a warranty claim, the XXL warranty confirmation or the registration printout has to accompany the sales receipt illustrating the date of sale.
